Security Appliance
The Syphan ITC220 has been engineered, from chip-level up, to deliver true 10G throughput performance to protect both service providers’ and their clients’ networks. With ultra-low latency total packet inspection, it is purpose-designed to operate in the high-speed, IP-based customer services environment including protection for HTTP transactions, VoIP communications, multi-media streaming and IPTV applications.
Based on a 1U rack mount chassis supporting dual, full duplex 10 Gb/sec connectivity the ITC220 supports throughput speeds of 40 Gb/sec with sub-64 nanosecond inspection latency. Each appliance includes 4 SFP+ or XFP ports, is fully resilient and fail-safe with flexible campus-wide clustering options of up to 4 ITC220s for ISP and data centre deployments.
