Syphan CEO to present at Washington DC technology showcase event
23rd September 2009, Skipton, United Kingdom; It has been announced that Pravin Mirchandani, CEO of UK security technology vendor Syphan Technologies will be one of a select group of specialists presenting at the first annual technology showcase event, OnDC 09 being held next month in Washington, DC. The event, which will be attended by over 500 entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, is the major US showcase event for emerging technologies that are deemed likely to have most impact on the future world economies in terms of fuelling growth and creating employment, particularly focussing on key areas of Federal Government investment including the environment, IT security, healthcare and education.
Syphan has developed a ground-breaking technology designed to protect high-performance corporate networks from the full range of security threats and botnet attacks capable of seriously disrupting access to Web services and penetrating many of the current corporate defence systems. Network security is a rapidly increasing problem for private and government organisations, particularly those that store huge volumes of personal and financial information on individuals. Syphan's technology provides an advanced and highly scalable integrated security shield designed specifically to operate in the most demanding high speed networks used by major enterprises, government departments and critical military deployments.
Launched earlier this year, Syphan's ITC220 network security appliance has already been acclaimed as break-through technology by a leading US security analyst and was named in the list of top six security products out of 400 companies on show at this year's world security industry’s event in San Francisco.

The announcement of Mirchandani's involvement in OnDC 09 coincides with the opening of Syphan's San Francisco office and the appointment of the specialist US government systems' integrator, GovAssure, as the company’s first technology partner in the US. GovAssure is part of the Rock Island network Group based in Santa Barbara CA and operates via a nationwide network of offices covering the whole of North America.
