Pravin Mirchandani - CEO
Pravin Mirchandani is a telecoms veteran with over 20 years experience in the networking industry and one of the founders of Syphan Technologies. He has served in management and technical positions for large companies such as Nortel Networks and Bay Networks, as well as start-ups like Orchestream and Codima, where his major focus has been the introduction of market-changing technologies to achieve transformational business success. Pravin has also acted as a management consultant advising young companies on how to manage and grow their business, and helping venture capital firms evaluate potential investments. As CEO, Pravin is responsible for the daily management of Syphan Technologies.
Jon Garside – Sales Director
Jon Garside is responsible for monetizing Syphan Technologies Intellectual Property through a mixture of Service Provider partnerships and OEM licences. With 14 successful years of IT Security experience as an Engineer and Product Manager, Jon has combined roles with blue chips such as Computer Associates, with the start-up and sale of his own company. Jon brings an in-depth technical knowledge IPS, its marketplace and a commercial savvy.
Melvyn Winburn - Financial Advisor to the Board
A founding partner in Leeds based Winburn Glass Norfolk, Melvyn is a qualified and highly experienced chartered accountant who has worked with a broad range of companies over a career spanning in excess of 30 years. Melvyn advises the Syphan board on a host of business, corporate, financial and accounting matters.
Stephen White – Operations Director
Stephen brings over 14 years experience working in the electronics industry to the Syphan management team including various application design roles for military, aerospace, automotive, IT and semiconductor products along with experience of all product life cycle management, from concept to manufacture, critical to Syphan’s product development roadmap; Stephen is responsible for operations and supply chain management as well maintaining involvement with the engineering side of the business. He joined Syphan in January 2007 to manage the design and hardware delivery for the company and was promoted to Director of Operations in January 2009.
