Initial funding for Syphan Technologies was provided by the founders.
In July 2006 Syphan Technologies was awarded a 9-month research grant by the Yorkshire Forward development agency in the United Kingdom. In mid-2008 two Yorkshire based venture capital funds invested in the Syphan opportunity: Yorkshire and Humber Equity Fund (YHEF) and Partnership Investment Finance (PIF).
